Vigna del Suolo is the historic heart of Argiano — the old vineyard beside the villa, replanted in the 1970s and now farmed as a separate cru. It is the estate's most serious Brunello, made in small quantity, and the wine that returned Argiano to the front rank of Montalcino after decades of quieter years.
