Aux Reignots climbs the slope just above Romanée-Saint-Vivant and La Romanée, on the thin, stony upper hillside where Vosne's perfume turns taut. It is also where the domaine's convictions run steepest: in 2018 Charles Lachaux chose this site for his most radical experiment, replanting at some seventeen thousand vines per hectare — a density Burgundy abandoned generations ago. The bottling stands exactly where the estate's oldest instincts and its newest ones overlap.
