The 2022 is the hinge in La Bruja's story. Gutiérrez records the change: no longer the village wine of Rozas de Puerto Real but a regional bottling — and the last before La Bruja turned entirely to Cebreros fruit from 2023. The house adapted to the warm year by macerating less, and the result is the most open La Bruja in years — Morgon came to the critic's mind — at fourteen degrees, rated 94 by The Wine Advocate. 56,487 bottles were filled in August 2023.
Cellaring perspective
An approachable vintage by design, with a published window through the late 2020s — and the magnum is what stretches it. Its second interest is documentary: the last La Bruja of the Madrid era, closing a chapter that began with a witch on the label.
